Hollow Radical Chinese Characters Board (Modelling Clay)

部首中空字板（橡皮泥）

Both the object picture and the hollow character are printed on a piece of wooden board and children would fill up the hollow words with the modelling clay in order to learn about the structure of the radical Chinese characters. This exercise would help improve concentration and eye focus together with the tactile ability. The strokes and lines combined to become words and as such would motivate children to increase their interest in Chinese characters.

 

Directly it allows the hands to practice skill movement and control in the pounding and kneading of the modelling clay using the palm, all five, four, three or two fingers only.

實物圖案及其中空字一併印在木板上，孩子便可使用泥膠填滿中空字從而做該部首字的結構，此外亦可訓練眼球聚焦力、專注集中力、觸覺能力，並帶出線條可交疊成字的關係，籍此提高孩子對漢字的興趣。

 

亦直接訓練手掌心、五指、四指、前三指、前二指力的摔或搓橡皮泥的手部動作控制。

  7. Nature: -  Sun, Moon, Mountain, Rock, Farmland, Rain

  8. Five Elements: -Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth
